Good Morning Nov 4, 2021

Good morning. Clear and mild again. Lots of birds until a couple of large hawks flew over and cleared the decks. Before that there were juncos, flickers, lesser goldfinches, verdins, white crowned sparrows, house finches, house sparrows, hummingbirds and grackles. I saw starlings fly overhead, and the male great tailed grackles were congregating on the neighbor’s roof again, posturing, squawking, and squealing at each other. The white crowned sparrows announced their arrival with song, and the chatter and squabbling of house finches kept me company. I didn’t have time to download bird photos yesterday, perhaps today or tomorrow. Such pleasant weather. 70F at 11 AM now.
