Good morning. It’s getting cold enough at night that a few of the chaste tree leaves are beginning to turn purple. The trees are also still blooming, as are the cape honeysuckles. It was 52f at 7:30 this morning and the white crowned sparrows were singing and the lesser goldfinches calling to each other and all coming down for drinks in the fountains. I can also here the soft clicks of a redwing blackbird somewhere nearby. Happy Saturday ! - Michele
